YEARS OF FIRE Recruits Former PRO-PAIN Drummer

Reunited Cleveland all-star brute-metal masters YEARS OF FIRE have recruited former PRO-PAIN/SPUDMONSTERS drummer Eric Mathews. The band's is new six-song EP, entitled "The Masochists", is scheduled for release on May 19.

YEARS OF FIRE's current vocalist is Kris Heming, who was added to the lineup in early 2008 at the recommendation of a former member.

Produced by Cole Martinez, the band's original lead guitarist, the new material shows YEARS OF FIRE at its best. "Everyone shares the same goals and are all 100% on the same page on where we want the band to go musically as well as the business aspect," says guitarist Jason Hager. "We all share extremely similar musical influences which helps them better get inside each others head while writing."
